About Psychology
Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behaviour, covering topics like memory, attachment and psychological disorders, alongside the research methods used to investigate them. With our online psychology tutoring, your child learns from a specialist who teaches this subject and nothing else.
At GCSE and IGCSE, students meet core theories and classic studies in an accessible way. At A Level the subject goes much deeper: evaluating research methodology, critiquing studies and applying theory to unfamiliar scenarios in extended written answers.
Research methods and study evaluation trip students up even when they know the theory well, so our tutors give them dedicated practice, backed by real past papers from your child's exact board.
Who is Psychology for?
Psychology suits curious students who want to know why people behave the way they do. It is a strong fit if your child:
- Is curious about how the mind works
- Is aiming for Psychology, Medicine or behavioural science degrees
- Knows the theory but struggles with research methods or evaluation
- Wants practice applying concepts to unfamiliar exam scenarios
